1. Best Swing: Graco Duet Glide LX Gliding Swing
This swing is one of the only things that my baby will sit in. All of my other children lived in their Rock N Play sleeper so I was devastated to see it was recalled. This swing has replaced the Rock N Play. It has a multi-position reclining seat, music/sounds, and it rocks in many different directions. We cannot live without this as this baby like the rest refuses to lay flat due to reflux.
2. Best Infant Positioner: Newborn Lounger
This newborn lounger allows your baby to comfortably be part of the entire family. We plop this pillow on the couch or bed and she is able to sit with us. Plop it on the floor and she is playing with us! Baby loves being at an incline and loves smiling while on this pillow. It comes in other colors as well and actually makes a great background for pictures!
3. Best Pacifier: Tommee Tippee Ultra-Light Silicone Baby Pacifier
I don’t know what it is about these pacifiers, but my daughter refused every other type. She always spits out the pacifier and was not a big fan. Probably because of her reflux. These are absolutely the ONLY pacifiers she will take. They come in a four-pack with various other colors as well!
4. Best Tummy Time Mat: Bright Starts Tummy Time Prop & Play
This mat is great for tummy time. It also includes a curved pillow for propping the baby up and a mirror. Both of which are necessary for tummy time! The small size makes it much easier to store than the large play mat. The generic colors make it adorable for both boys and girls!
5. Best Bouncer Seat: BabyBjörn Bouncer Bliss
This seat is definitely pricey, but completely worth it. It looks simple, but for some reason babies love it. My son would bounce himself in it for hours. It also folds up flat so it can be easily taken anywhere. You can purchase the Bjorn toy bar to attach or any toy bar. I love the Tiny Love toy bar. It is colorful with lots of cool toys. You can take it on and off as well to attach it to the car seat or stroller.
6. Best Swaddle: Love To Dream Swaddle UP
My babies all hated being swaddled with their arms down. This swaddle is amazing! My kids love being able to still move their arms up toward their face without the startle reflex waking them up. They even sell a transitional one where the hand part zips off so that you can gradually take the swaddle away. Comes in different colors and sizes! I have two in stock at all times for night time sleep! My daughter now sleeps 7 hours at night and she is 2 months old.
7. Best Head Support Pillow: Boppy Noggin Nest Head Support for Infants
I was mortified when the doctor mentioned that my son and daughter were developing a flat head as babies. They loved to sit in the inclined positioner seats especially the Rock N Play which was notorious for causing flat spots on the head. This pillow cleared it all up! I put it in everything the baby lays in. Great for any bouncer seat, the car seat, or the stroller. It comes in many different designs.
8. Best Floor Seat: Fisher Price Sit Me Up
The Fisher Price Sit Me Up is great for right around the 2 and half month mark. As soon as your baby has pretty good neck control he/she can use this seat. It has a high supportive back so young babies are comfortable. They can play and as they grow older they can eat on the tray. It comes in a ton of different styles and colors. This also folds up for easy storage and travel.
9. Best Infant Carseat: Nuna Pipa
This is hands down the best infant car seat on the market. Trust me we have had many! It has excellent safety ratings, many infant insert options, it’s lightweight, and best of all has an amazing canopy. Best car seat to have during a pandemic when you don’t want strangers to have easy access to the baby! I could write a whole post on this and the matching stroller. Trust me the price tag is high, but some things are worth paying for and this is one of them!
10. Best Medicine Dispenser: MediFrida the Accu-Dose Pacifier Baby Medicine Dispenser by FridaBaby
Frida baby products are amazing. I love the Windi (for gas) and the Nose Frida. This medicine dispenser is equally wonderful. It looks just like a pacifier, but it has a small hole where you can insert the dispenser. I use it for gripe water or Tylenol. It is mess-free and the baby loves it! Genius!
